Wooli Duo
Wooli Duo / 無理 / 우리 is an avant-garde folk duo featuring Taiwanese Pipa player Fan-Qi Wu and Norwegian drummer Michael Lee Sørenmo.
The duo created their own compositions out of inspirations from East-Asian traditional music and free improvisational music.
After touring in numerous countries in Europe, Wooli Duo is set to release their debut EP in 2025.

The combination of rasping brass, stretched strings and singing bronze make way for an idiosyncratic expression within the expressive improv scene.
The band reflects on just intonation, european art music, jazz and british improvisational music.
This results in a contemporary reflection of free form, rigorous organization of sound and lyrical blow. Their debut album, We come for an Experience of Presence was released 29th of April 2024 on nakamarecords.no
ükya member are Emil Bø on Trombone, Kristian Enkerud Lien on guitar, and Michael Lee Sørenmo on the drums.
Hajodo
Hajodo is Michael Lee Sørenmo newest project, having premiered with concerts in Sweden and Norway in 2023. The band consist of Fan-Qi Wu on Pipa, Jakob Nordli Leirvik on Vocals and Vetle Aakre Laupsa on bass.
Hajodo plays composition written by Michael, inspired from Korean traditional rhythms, free improvisation with live electronics, and music from the scandinavian jazz scene. More news to come soon....
Jafs trio
jafs trio is a Norwegian jazz trio that combines spontaneity and humor with virtuosity and bold compositions. The name jafs trio comes from the norwegian expression “to take it in one jafs (or bite).”
A typical jafs concert is an event where you come to encounter something completely unknown. Even if you are a regular jafs-goer, you can always expect a surprise or five. We have a surprice-guarantee! Let´s listen to some jafs music!

Agges Arkiv
Agges Arkiv is formed by guitarist August Estberg from Sweden.
Spring 2024 they performed at Blå Stället in Gothenburg, and also recorded their debut album.
Agges Arkiv is set to release their album in 2025, following a tour in scandinavia.

RØSK
RØSK (Rogaland Øvre Samspills Kohort) is a music collective originating from the jazz program at the University of Stavanger. The collective serves as a platform for emerging musicians and composers in Stavanger who wish to write for a larger ensemble.
RØSK released their debut EP "RØSK vol.I" in 2022 and aims to function as an active platform for young musicians with a shared desire to play and compose music for a larger ensemble on their own terms.
